Credit usage policy

This Credit Usage Policy explains how credits work in the allbids app, what they cost, and when they are charged.

Credits are a prepaid balance used to pay for allbids services. They are not cash, have no cash value, and are not transferable except where required by law.

Credit value

Credits are denominated in the app, not as a fixed dollar amount. The US dollar price of a pack and how many credits it includes are shown in the app before you purchase and may change over time.

Credit packs sold through the App Store are priced by Apple. Restore Purchases recovers credits already granted for a completed App Store transaction on this Apple ID.

Getting credits

New accounts may receive promotional credits to get started.

Additional credits can be purchased in the allbids iOS app. Purchases are processed by Apple.

Project scoping

Before outreach, you use the allbids AI assistant to describe your project. That scoping conversation uses AI models to interpret your messages, photos, and follow-ups, and to draft a project brief we can send to contractors.

Credits for scoping are billed to cover those AI costs, based on actual inference usage. Longer conversations, more photos, and more complex requests cost more. The amount is not a flat fee per project.

Credits are consumed for the AI work already performed, including if you leave scoping unfinished or later change the project. Scoping does not guarantee a complete, accurate, or bid-ready brief, and unused scoping work is not refunded except where required by law.

Contractor outreach

Each contractor outreach costs a set number of credits. The current amount is shown in the app when you choose how many businesses to contact.

Outreach credits are charged when we contact businesses on your behalf. Spending credits pays for that outreach attempt. It does not guarantee that a contractor will respond, bid, or accept your project.

Most of that cost is spent running AI agents: navigating contractor websites, filling contact forms, and similar work on third-party sites we do not control. Websites change, forms fail, pages block automation, or a business may never see the message. When that happens, credits are still consumed for the work already performed. That is not a defect in the allbids service, and it does not require us to retry, replace the attempt, or refund credits.

No guarantee of bids

Credit spend does not guarantee bids. Contractors decide whether to reply, quote, or decline. Results vary by project, location, timing, and the businesses we contact.

If a contractor ghosts or rejects an offer, we may offer additional outreach attempts at our discretion. We are not required to replace a contractor, retry outreach, or refund credits when no bid is received.

Refunds

Requests to refund an App Store purchase are handled by Apple. If Apple refunds a transaction, allbids reverses the credits that were granted for that purchase.

Credits already spent on services are not restored except where required by law or by Apple's refund of the original purchase.
